Located in the southern borough Brooklyn, New York’s Coney Island is one of the best places to enjoy a day at the beach. If you need more, Coney Island is also home to the New York Aquarium. With over 350 species it is a must for animal lovers. You can encounter sea lions, penguin feedings or you can even get very close to a real shark. It is also the best place to go if you have any questions regarding the neighborhood.
Coney Island can be reached by train from midtown Manhattan in about an hour (trains D,Q, N or F to Stillwell Avenue), by Express Busses X28 and X38 or comfortably by car as there are multiple commercial parking lots.
