Activity Summary for Nepal House in Berlin
- Namaste! Eat authentic Nepalese food in this traditional restaurant in Kreuzberg, Berlin

Activity Details- Berlin, Germany - May 2010
2 Hours -
Namaste! Berlin's diversity becomes apparent when you notice that there isn't just one Nepalese restaurant to choose from, but several. The Nepal House is one of these, and well worth a visit if you enjoy Nepalese food. I found the cuisine to be very similar to Indian but not as overpowering and dominant. The spices used at the Nepal House were unique but familiar and contributed to a very enjoyable meal.
The Nepal House is located in Berlin's Kreuzberg district - a very diverse part of a diverse city. Inside, the decor is simple yet traditional. Reservations are recommended as it is quite popular. The food is not expensive. Expect to pay around 8 Euro for a main course. The selection is quite large as are the portions.
One word of advice - stay away from the wine list. We sampled two of the red wines and were disappointed. But who goes to a Nepalese restaurant for the wine anyway? Overall, highly recommended!
