Activity Summary for Gutsschänke & Weingut Wiesenmühle
- Sample some excellent wines with a dinner in a rustic setting in the heart of the Nahe Valley

Activity Details
- Wallhausen, Rheinland-Palatinate, Germany - January 2010
2 Hours -
This winery is a great place to have a dinner and enjoy some terrific wines at unbeatable prices. The restaurant is set in a forested area outside of Wallhausen, a town that has just 1800 inhabitants but over 25 wineries! A gentle stream flows past the winery making the atmosphere here very rustic and serene.
I especially enjoyed the Dornfelder, a dry red wine that is far more well-rounded and complex than the price might suggest. The selection of wines is decent, with many excellent red and white wines to choose from. Expect to pay 6 to 8 Euro for a main course and about 2.50 Euro for a 0.2ml glass of wine.
Definitely recommended if you want a truly authentic Nahe Valley experience!
